    just pour it into your trucks fuel tank and then fill up to the top with fresh gas . burn it as normal the motor will not know. but if you try and use it in a lawnmower it will stop running. thanks to the crap our gas is watered down with.

    • @1D10CRACY
      @1D10CRACY День назад

      I normally just run old gas in my tractors. This came out of a tank in my boat that had water in it, but one could have syphoned the fuel off the top and used it.

  • @TheDuckofDoom.
    @TheDuckofDoom. День назад

    Still no pouring handle. It's like these gas can designers have zero comprehension of center of gravity, and never actually poured anything from a heavy container. Do the lid threads even fit an ez-pour spout?

    • @1D10CRACY
      @1D10CRACY День назад

      The threads are just a standard Midwest thread. But yeah, if you have trouble with heavier things, these cans are probably not your best choice. I'm kind of old, but they are not too heavy for me to handle yet.

    • @TheDuckofDoom.
      @TheDuckofDoom. День назад

      @@1D10CRACY While balanced on the edge of some machine 6 feet in the air? I'm not talking about simple carry weight. Other than hugging it under an arm, how do you hang on to make the thing pour?

    • @1D10CRACY
      @1D10CRACY День назад

      Typically I modify the spout by removing the red button. But the feature that allows it to turn on when it collapses I leave alone. There is a ridge on the end of the spout that is designed to rest in the ridge of the fill spout. So basically you are only balancing the weight.

    • @TheDuckofDoom.
      @TheDuckofDoom. День назад

      @@1D10CRACY That only works well for automotive tanks, not the two to three inch wide tank openings common on heavy equipment, tractors, motorcycles, and small airplanes. I dug a little and it looks like ez-pour makes a compatible spout. There would be a need to install a vent cap, but that is as easy as drilling/reaming a clean 1/2inch hole and cleaning any shavings out of the can. (ezpour has push-in snap top vents.) I also remove the flame screens because I occasionally use the high flow pumps at the airport (Fill a 5 gal can in about 20 seconds as long as the opening is wide enough for the fat nozzle.), but they have clip-on grounding cables to discharge static.

    • @1D10CRACY
      @1D10CRACY 17 часов назад

      It has it's limitations for sure. But now that you mention it, it's not that great for vehicles. The few times I've used them to give someone fuel for their car it was pretty awkward mainly because of the angle of the fill spout. And because of that angle, it's very difficult to get all the fuel out of the can. I use mine mainly for my tractors and welder. And yes, the flash suppressor screen is another item that gets removed, it makes it difficult to fill the can. Also a stick pump works well with these cans too.

    • @1D10CRACY
      @1D10CRACY День назад

      The boat is a mix of parts between two boats. A lot of the parts came from a boat that was dated 1984 if I remember. I used some of the parts from that boat to accommodate an engine swap. But this has been years ago and I don't remember the details.

    I am on my 7th EV, a 22 Bolt EUV Premier, LOVE it !! I take it to the SF Bay area (from LA), also Phoenix, San Diego, Palm Springs, etc. Yes, the fast charging is only 52 KWH max, but half the fast chargers out there are only 60 KWH. At most it takes an hour to refill the batter to 100%. I have a meal, walk my dog (I can leave the climate control on so we don't roast in the car) and the extra 30 minutes (from a faster charging EV is negligible. For the price, you can't beat it. And, I have Apple Car Play, which for some stupid reason, the new GM cars have dropped. I LOVE my car !!

    Hey mine is not reading amps when I clamp around a hot wire that I know for a fact has current running through it. wtf is going on? I’m clamped around a single hot wire, nothing else and it will not tell me the current no matter what setting I put it on. It’s AC current, it’s just a black coming out into a blue box I haven’t wired an outlet in yet. I wire nutted it if that matters. It’s at the end of a circuit.

    What happened to the old style can with the two inch threaded steel cap with the lugs you could tighten up? they came with a steel screw in spout or one with a rubber press in squeeze lever spout, that works like a plug in a boat. I used those type cans for my backhoe up toll the 1990s even had them after 2000. we always have to take every good idea, that works perfectly well, and toss it right in the Goddamn trash, anything to burden Americans! yay!

    Can anyone give advice on how to pack a light switch back in the receptacle ? The wire so thick and heavy duty I had to basically force it into the receptacle and use the screws to "wrench" it in (it was impossible to push it physically), which I'm guessing isn't good for putting tension on the inserted wires.

I don't think mine has a creeper gear either and I don't know about PS, I'm really interested in both of those. It doesn't have a 3pt but I have other tractors that are more capable that have a 3pt so I'll probably only put one on if I find the parts super cheap. I'll be looking thru your videos to see if you have others with your 184.

    The Wera 6004 Jokers work in a similar manner. They don't give the range of adjustment that the "k nip x" do, but they are handier to use as they work as a ratcheting open end. I have a number of sizes of both and they have their uses, both are excellent at what they do.
